United4Rare LLC, a mission-driven health innovation company founded by Kirsten Norgaard and Jennifer Knapp, two seasoned rare disease advocates.
With more than 40 years of combined experience in the rare disease space, they have worked extensively on national education efforts, policy advocacy, and resource development for medically complex communities—particularly those navigating adrenal insufficiency and steroid-dependent conditions.
Prior to founding United4Rare, both founders led major initiatives in the nonprofit sector, including the development of educational materials for emergency responders, coordination of patient advocacy efforts during Rare Disease Week on Capitol Hill, and partnerships with clinicians to improve access to timely diagnosis and crisis care.
Their lived experience, combined with years of advocacy, has shaped their unwavering commitment to building practical tools—like CortiCheck—that are informed by what patients actually need, and driven by the urgency of real-world care.
