United4Rare LLC is a mission driven health innovation company founded by Kirsten Norgaard and Jennifer Knapp. Both founders bring decades of experience in adrenal insufficiency advocacy, education, and system change. Their work has centered on improving crisis recognition, supporting steroid dependent patients, and building practical tools for families navigating adrenal care.
Before creating United4Rare, they led major efforts to improve emergency responder education, expand awareness of adrenal crisis, and partner with clinicians to strengthen access to timely diagnosis and treatment. Their lived experience and long history in this field drive their commitment to developing the next generation of adrenal testing solutions, including the CortiCheck initiative focused on real time cortisol monitoring.
